P5: Carry out post-production techniques and processes to produce a final original media product in line to the client brief
Here is my offline edit.

The editing process (screenshot evidence)
Above is evidence of the post production editing I have included to make my video the best it can be.
- Here I have added footage that I have recorded myself together, and cut them to the appropriate size to fit the script and video montage. I added them together in sequence so one video starts straight after the other and I chose which parts of each clips would work best for the video.
- Here I have changed the speed of a shot to increase the length of the video to what I need it to be. The reason why this shot in particular has been slowed down so much is because there is an unnecessary zoom in the clip which makes the rest of it look bad, so I cut it down to the point where the zoom does not effect it, then I added the clip speed effect to slow down the video to fill in the gap left after the cutting.
- Here I have added transitions to the clips for effect. Every Transition in the video is at the beginning and/or end of a clip that has a blue or yellow box. A blue box means that there is a transition, a yellow box is the transition you have selected. I added them by going onto the transitions menu, then dragging and dropping them onto a chosen clip.
- Here is an example of where I have added, cut down and edited the audio. When I added the audio content of my narrator I noticed he stuttered quite a lot, or missed out words from the script at times, an then corrected himself, so I had to cut out all of these mistakes. I then had to fix the sound levels of the audio, this is because there were some parts where he spoke to quietly so this took some time to add gain to the audio and change the volume of each cut to the right amount. In the audio recordings, I also captured noise, which is excess background sound which is unnecessary for the video so I added a noise removal effect what got rid of the annoying background sounds.
- Here I have added text to my video. This example of text is actually the proof I have permissions t use the music in the video. I added this text by going into the annotations menu and clicking on the text option then dragging and dropping it into the video. I then resized the text to fill out the page using the property options on the right of the screen.
- Here I have animated arrows onto the bridge to show where the wooden planks meet at each end to form tangents. I did this by going onto the animations menu and adding the custom animation option to each arrow, used then used the animation arrow on the clip icon to record me enlarging the arrow on both sides to reach each side of the bridge. Then I increased the duration of the animation and when it had finished it then moved on it's own to meet each opposite end. I did the same process with each arrow.
- Because of a really bad zoom almost ruining this shot completely, I turned the shot into an image right before where the zoom started, then added an animated zoom onto the image to create a better, smoother zoom that didn't jeopardise the shot, it in fact, made it better. For this I used a similar technique to that of the arrows, but instead of animating manually with the icon arrow, I used a pan and zoom box to create the animation (top left).

Like I said throughout this unit, the primary target audience of the the judges of the competition as my client wants to win the competition so this video must appeal to the judges to win. This means it must represent and promote culture in an attractive way to win the award. This video is suitable because it does promote the culture very well and is edited to look visually pleasing as well as interesting. It is constantly promoting the culture in the many sights of Cambridge which is why this would appeal to the primary target audience.
The secondary Target Audience would be people wanting to come to Cambridge, so the secondary target audience would want to see an interesting video that advertises and promotes Cambridge so that they are persuaded to visit Cambridge rather than somewhere else. This video is suitable because it promotes and advertises Cambridge in a way that attracts people to Cambridge, by showing off some of Cambridge's best locations and sights, this will result in more people wanting to visit Cambridge, which means that it suits it's target audience, which isn't really an age as such, rather anyone who wants to visit England, Cambridge or just tourists in general, as well as students from other countries or towns deciding whether to study at Cambridge or not.
This product is suitable for the target audience as it is meeting what the judges require for the competition, since the video is talking about culture in Cambridge as well as showing some of what Cambridge has to offer for tourists, as tourists are the secondary target audience of this promotional video.
I am happy with my finished product but if i was asked to do this video even better here are some strengths that I would follow, and some improvements that I would make to better the video:

Exporting the video
Here is the evidence that I exported my video using the editing software Camtasia 9.

Choosing the right formats

1) Here I exported the video as a 1080p file. This is so I can present the video to the competition as the best quality file. This is because my client wants to win the competition and I must ensure the highest chance of this.
