P3: Develop an original story to be told within the graphic novel or comic
Here is the proposal I made for the planning of my Original product.
P4: Create a script for the planned story
Here I have created a complete script for my planned comic.

P5: Plan the structure and panel layout for the proposed organic graphic novel or comic
The second page of my comic will have 4 panels on it. Two medium squared boxes at the top section, and Two longer, horizontal boxes, one in the middle section, and one in the bottom section. I chose this layout because it will help to show the most tension between Drayor and Shaytan at the beginning of the fight. |
The third page of my comic will have 6 panels on it. Three thinner and small rectangular boxes at the top section, two medium boxes in the middle section and one longer, horizontal box in the bottom section. I chose this layout as it shows the conflict between hero and villain, physically and mentally, in the best detail. |
The fourth page of my comic will have 5 panels on it. At the top there is one medium and one small box, in the middle and bottom left, two medium boxes, one in the middle, the other at the bottom. And on the right, a longer, vertical box starting in the middle section and ending in the bottom section. I have chosen this layout, which is different to the others before this page, because it buts the character interactions into better detail and order, while still allowing creative panelling. |
The fifth page of my comic will have 2 panels on it. One large, vertical, rectangular box, and a smaller box of the same shape in the bottom left corner of the bigger box. I have chosen to use this layout for this page because it represents not only the climax of the comic, but also the character development and failure of the hero, where the hero's girlfriend is killed by Shaytan for no reason at all, apart from making his enemy angry and feel pain, this means being able to see character emotions, (Shaytan's evil satisfaction, Sheila's fear of death, an Shaytan's despair and pain) in as much detail as possible. |
The sixth page of my comic will have 4 panels on it. One longer, horizontal box in the top section, two smaller boxes in the middle section, and another longer, slightly wider, horizontal box in the bottom section. Following from the previous page, this layout is also important to show the emotions flowing through Drayor's mind and the tension between him and Shaytan.

The seventh page of my comic will have 6 panels on it. One longer, horizontal box in the top section, three smaller boxes in the middle section, and another longer, slightly wider, horizontal box in the bottom section. This layout shows the movements the characters make before the final battle, and is important as it is building up tension. |
The eighth page of my comic will have 7 panels in it. One medium box along with a small box at the top section, three smaller boxes in the middle section, and one small box and one medium box in the bottom section. The layout of the eighth page is very important as it emphasises the pure skill Drayor has when he becomes enraged. |
The ninth page of my comic will have 3 panels on it. One longer horizontal box in the top section, one large square box that takes up the middle and bottom section, and a smaller box in the top left corner of the square box. This panel layout is important due to vengeful emotions rocketing through Drayor at the death of his girlfriend and the possibility of him becoming no better that the villain. this panelling allows this to be shown in more depth. |
Here is a diagram of different types of speech bubbles. The text that will appear in my comic will consist mainly of speech, with only 2 narrative boxes, at the beginning, and at the end. But the speech is there throughout, I think that 3 of these will be used: Speech, thought and burst. Speech for normal character interactions, thought for when characters begin thinking to themselves, and burst for when Drayor looses it and shouts at Shaytan. The bubbles will have a black outline and a white background with black text. The text font will remain the same throughout.
